"Digital health is in a Cambrian explosion of innovation. We agree with the judges that this is the year that digital health goes main stream, in our own case, with our first multi-million patient record roll-out. It was a real honour to have been chosen tonight." - Dr Mohammad Al-Ubayadli CEO, Patients Know Best

Finalist

NHS Education Scotland (NES): NES was nominated for the breadth of its work in championing the use of technology in healthcare, as opposed to a single project. It is a national Special Health Board responsible for the delivery of education, training and workforce development for those who work in and with NHS Scotland. NES believes in the ability of technology to put users at the heart of systems and services, providing the freedom to interact, learn and engage with information in new and exciting ways. NES has delivered individual projects, like the award-winning Sepsis Diagnosis mobile app as well as a programme of Digital Transformation, building new software solutions in-house and to budget. The new Digital Platform will let healthcare staff take control of their personal learning and development, delivering NES resources 24/7 to any device, on demand.
